On cask, wonderful taste and feeling. This is how a stout should taste! Yummy.

Not a typical stout, I personally didn’t like this as much as other local stouts. It had a somewhat empty taste that left me wondering where the body of this beer is. Seems like a stout that needs to hit the weight room.

If I had tasted this blind, I would have rated it as a cherry stout, I even picked up cherry in the nose. Lots of cocoa and bakers chocolate going on as well, lighter bodied and a bit strange at the finish... instead of some dry chalkiness, hoppiness, or long creamy finsh, I tasted some cherry cough syrup.

Almost black with creamy tan head. Looks yummy. Smokey, earthy, cocoa nose. Lots of burnt flavor. Finish just a bit too bitter.

Whole bunch of tan head on this black beast. Aroma is a strong roasted pete and a hint of rye, all in all a very earthy slightly acidic tone to it. Flavor is a very grainy malt. Mouthfeel is semi-chalky, similar to coffee.

Pours mostly opaque dark brown with a small brown head that turns into an off-white color. Aroma is a smokey chocolate. Start is thin, with very roasty chocolate hints the the middle. Needs more body.

Black. Foamy tan head. Smell; sarsaparilla, leather, coffee, chocolate and dust. Taste; molasses, burned grains, coffee. Excessively carbonated, almost fizzy in fact. The dry dusty aftertaste had me reaching for the water.

Mild roasted malt aroma with some fruitiness. Good looking pour with a dense white head atop an almost black-brown body with ruby tones. Roasted malts apparent with some fruitiness and a little touch of chocolate. Mostly sweet flavour with the bitterness of the black malt coming through in the finish. I found the body a bit thin and dry. This is a decent stout and worth a try but not what I'd pick as my first choice in this category. Bottle.
