Bottle sampled. Pours black with a two finger tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, and a hint of chocolate. Flavor of coffee, roasted malts, and a hint of tartness with a bitter and dry finish.

It’s a stout with a very thick black body, a nice frothy head, and a deep roasted flavor. If it had its choice, it wouldn’t be drank as a stout. Oh no. If it had its choice it would choose to be inhaled as a big cloud of smoke as the label suggests. This vision came to me even before I saw the packaging for I had it on tap. The bartender handed me this in a glass. However, I would have preferred a chimney.

This one pours dark brown to black featuring a one finger, short lived, semi spritzy froth. A thin sheet of satin covers with a ful, lastingl ring of lace. Aromas of roasted malts and a bit of molases although not sweet. Medium nectar weight w/ a proponderance of carbonation. Dray as a bone, highly roasted, and a nice bit of cocoa. The finish is bittered well and leaves a lingering roasted cocoa flavor to ponder. It’s so dry it leaves my palate a little parched.

Poured a deep, dark, opaque black with an off white head that condensed to a thin film. Smells of nuts, roasted malts, and a little metallic. Flavor is watery and all nuts and roasted malts with not a whole lot else. Coffee like finish. Standard dry stout, won’t surprise you.

This beer pours a massive head with an aroma of wood and roasted chocolate. it has a dark brown color and the laceing on the glass is very nice. AS you drink it there are flavors of coffee and chocolate malt. On the palate there are more earthy flavors like wood and pete as well as hints of toffee.
