Sep 24, 2006 12oz bottle labeled best before S 07. Poured a deeper copper color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of toasted malts, caramel with light chocolate in the background. Tastes of toasted malts, chocolate (stronger than the aromas), light caramel, and citrus.

Sep 17, 2006 This is great stuff! Nice toasty flavor and aromas. Good mouthfeel - not too sticky. Very drinkable. Great maltiness, finish is fun and interesting with a bit of bite. I’ll have another please!

Sep 17, 2006 I believe this is Courtesy of jjpm74. Aroma is a toasty dry malt that comes off slightly dusty. Body is a dark amber and holds a very nice looking two finger thick off white head that diminishes slowly. Fore is dry and hearty with low sweetness. Gets sweeter through the middle but those esters are balanced by a very toasty flavor that lingers well into the finish. Some very mild caramel notes, but they are distant as if the yeast ate up most of the caramel flavor. I rather enjoyed this.

Jul 24, 2006 This is a great fall beer to enjoy. Nothing like a tasty ESB to warm you in the fall months. There are not any of the distracting flavors of some other fall beers...enjoy this one, get on board for the Christmas Ale because it is awesome!

Mar 28, 2006 Pours a clear deep caramel with a nicely-lacing bone-colored head. Aroma is dry, toasty, and lightly dark caramel malty with some musk. Starts with a semi-sweet toasty dark caramel and sticky palate with a thinner, sugary crystal maltiness. An ok ESB.

Mar 15, 2006 (03.08.06) 12 oz brown bottle as gift from Thaichile. Bottle labeled states that the beer is best consumed before August 2006. Pours clear red amber with gigantic off-white head. Overly carbonated and needed two glasses to hold the beer and froth. Fruity ester, sweet malt, and yeast aromas. Medium bodied that starts dry with tiny malt sweetness. Spicy/fruity flavors. Finishes dry and clean with a good spicy aftertaste. Little hop presence. This is a very good, refreshing, dry ale. Thanks Thaichile!

Feb 28, 2006 Poured a clear copper color with a small beige head. Aroma contained some citrus and caramel with a touch of chocolate. Flavor was for the most part malty and dominantly caramel. Light bitterness on the finish. Semi dry with a medium body.
