Commercial Description:
Technically speaking, this ale can be described as an Extra Special Bitter. What that really means is that more of everything that goes into our bitter is added to the Halloween Ale -- more imported barley and more fresh Goldings hops from East Kent in England. This strong ale is also given some extra time in the conditioning tank, allowing it to mellow considerably.

This one is a winner, great mix of sweet and bitter and so many little tastes in between add up to one of the spookiest treats to come out for a fall seasonal. Like Magic Hat’s JINX this one is unusal tasting but kicks in when it warms. Great ESB and what a bottle cover! Get it whiles it here.

This beer is great. Greatly hopped but not overpowering. Many flavors to taste. This will make a very nice brew on a chilly october new england afternoon

This is a great fall beer to enjoy. Nothing like a tasty ESB to warm you in the fall months. There are not any of the distracting flavors of some other fall beers...enjoy this one, get on board for the Christmas Ale because it is awesome!

Wow. I am very happy with this. Deep garnet brown color, large fluffy head that dissipates fairly rapidly and leaves nice lacing. Very clear. Rich malty flavor like an english strong ale but with a nice bitter flavor. Getting richer in body as it warms. This is a quite tasty ale my friends. Enjoy…I wish I had more. If tyhey called this a winter beer, it would get a lot more play.

Verrry good! Nice dark color, decent aroma, and great taste. Seemed similar to an Oktoberfest. I'm going to look for this again.
