Commercial Description:
A more robust version of our Pale Ale is given extra time to condition and mellow. The result is a fairly strong ale that still has the distinctive dry hop character and "snap" of our regular Pale. AKA, "Uncle Andy's IPA".

On tap in Gritty McDuffs, Portland. Orange to amber colour, thin white lace on glass. Hoppy aroma. Full hop flavour with a nice bitter finish. Decent IPA but nothing to blow your mind.

On tap at the Freeport brewpub. Like most of the beers at Gritty’s this one is good though nothing spectacular.

I want to start off by saying how much I love Grittys! This was a good beer. Copper color. Grapefruit aroma. A little bit of caramel start with grassy notes and grapefruit finish. Order the fried haddock sandwich rolled in barley to go with this beer.

Nice and hoppy. Very crisp and if I recall a nice ABV. Sampled at the St. Pete Florida Craft Beer Fest.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A dark amber beer with a thin dark beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, hops, and elder flowers. The flavor is very sweet and malty, combined with notes of caramel, hops, grass, and grapefruit, leading to a dry bitter finish.
