Commercial Description:
A more robust version of our Pale Ale is given extra time to condition and mellow. The result is a fairly strong ale that still has the distinctive dry hop character and "snap" of our regular Pale. AKA, "Uncle Andy's IPA".

Cask at GBBF 2007. A dark amber beer with a thin dark beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, hops, and elder flowers. The flavor is very sweet and malty, combined with notes of caramel, hops, grass, and grapefruit, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Cask@GBBF2007. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity and slightly wooden. Flavour is the same, but a lot of grassyness has come along. Really dry palate.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at GBBF. Amber colour with a slight head. Crisp American hops all round. Sharp and moreish. Slight notes of alcohol and malt. Soapy note to the aroma lets it down a little. Pleasant mouthfeel. Not bad at all.
