Aroma is toffee-medium malt, some peat, a sharpness-fruity yeast, some cocoa (detractor). Taste is watery malt, husky, then tonic water, herbal/medicinal, the aroma was mostly nice with one detractor, the taste was mostly detractors. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out. Aroma of malt, light hops, peanuts, toffee and some mild spices. Light to Medium-bodied; Malty taste up front with some mild hop tastes followed by a strong amount of peanuts and some toffee flavours. Aftertaste is very mild - no strong tastes at all...some peanuts, malt and a light sweetness, that’s all. Overall, a decent beer - not a style I like and not very strong in it...so it’s not too bad. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 08-April-2006 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. rcasta (489), El Salvador
