Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Nose is slightly hoppy. Starts with a mix of malts and hops hints of sweetness but that doesn’t last and finish is hoppy but not lingering. $1.35 for a 12oz bottle from RSVP Liquors Portland, Me. porterhouse (1154), Alna, Maine, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2005 Bottle. Nice deep amber. Light Floral & citruisy hop aroma blends nicely with malty caramel. Thin body & lack of flavor to back up the aroma. Passable as a session beer. VTHopHead (915), Barre, Vermont, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 31, 2005 Bottle - Poured a golden amber in color with a whitish head. Aroma was malty and buttery with some floral hops mixed in. Flavor was not too distinctive and weaker than the aroma promised. Watery. Not a good effort for Gritty... CamdenD (606), Madrid, Spain
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 19, 2005 Very average beer here. Somewhat like a light version of their bitter, oddly enough. Needed a bit more kick, I think. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 28, 2005 On draught at the brewpub in Portland, 5/21/2005 with Muzzlehatch. Creamy honey and butter in the nose, light floral hops, notes of oranges. Amber-golden, clear, small white head recedes quickly to ring, with no lacing. Flavor is diacetyl, pale malt, light caramel and graham crackers, with a orange and pine finish, that is more flavorful than it is bitter. Medium to medium-light body, with moderate carbonation and a weak, watery mouthfeel, that seems too heavy for the relative lack of flavor. Maybe they should throw this in the cask.
