Lots and lots of diacetyl in the the nose of this very, very clear light amber beaut...character-free mild malty body with virtually no hops. I could try to come up with more, but...just avoid it. The aroma is sweet grassy combined with notes of oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of peach and alcohol running over the tongue leading to a dry hoppy end. A boring beer. Citrusy hop aroma with a pleasant caramel maltiness--clean. Flavour begins with a nice bitterness followed closely by caramel and then a considerable amount of diacetyl butterscotch-a bit too much for my taste. Good lemony-pine hops throughout the experience and appropriate bitterness overall. A little astringent with a smooth, medium body. A bit mouth coating. Moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Clear copper with nice lacing. Nice grapefruit and toffee aroma. Bitter toffee taste with a nice blend of US hops but not a lot of hops flavour when push comes to shove. Light body with medium carbonation and a bitter finish. rauchbier (3002), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England

This is a balanced, towards the British end of the style, with pleasanty earthy malts and a mild fruitiness, finishing somewhat dry. Good accompaniment with your average American meal.
