Commercial Description:
Original Pub Style is a light copper-colored medium-bodied with a nice dry bite at the finish. A subtle combination of Cascade and Willamette hops give this ale a fine floral aroma and a slightly fruity aftertaste. The taste captures the freshness of a hand-crafted brew pub ale that goes right from the conditioning tank to your glass!

Copper orangish pour with off-white head. Aroma was caramel malt, toffee, some mild spicy hops and citrus. Medium palate heft with flavors of caramel malt, soem toffee sweetness, some spicy fruity peppery notes, and some dank cobwebby yeasty ester notes as it warmed.

This was the "beer of the month" at my college. Poured amber. Nose was nice, some floral hops noticable. Pretty good.. was a bit carmelly, which i dont care for. Hoppy dry finish. Not too bad, not too good.

Somewhat cloudy golden coloured body with tons of small bubbles, a very thin white head and a light copper coloured tint - decent looking, but nothing spectacular. Aroma of metal, blood, lemons, yeast and a bunch of malt - no hops at all to speak of. Light-bodied; Super mild malt flavour with lemons, rice and a tiny bit of hops that are noticed - definitely not enough to call this any sort of ’pale’. Aftertaste shows cardboard, metal, blood and nothing nice. Overall, a very bad choice for an APA - definitely not worth trying, even if you are looking for a different beer from a different state (maine). I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 08-January-2008.

Pours a pretty amber with a quickly dissipating white head. Smells of sharp citrus fruit. Taste is of a biting grain. High carbonation. Sharp and quick bitter finish. Makes for a great pounder.

Orange amber color with hoppy bread aroma. Palate was good but flavor did not match. Starts like an ipa then mellows with a buttery texture then finishes too soon.

This beer was brought to my by my friend Matt after a trip to Maine. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-bronze color with a medium sized orange-white head. The aroma was sweet, fruity, tangy, spicy and nutty. The flavor was bitter and dry with a noted floral hop presence and a nutty malt base. A touch of butterscotch throughout.

12oz bottle-pours a big foamy off white head and gold color. Aroma is mild grain/medium malt, flat (English) hops, maybe some spice, cardboard, (coffee?). Taste is medium malt-some sweet caramel, earthy hops, fruit, some herbal/musty, yeast? Dryness in the finish. Rather middle of the road EPA and lack luster finish. Mild carbonation.

On tap at Griitty. The color is a rich dark amber with hardly any head. Their is a sweet taste of malt but not overpowering. Also in the sweet taste there is some toffey and or caramel. To the taste you can also and some bitterness, not to much but enough to make it a pale ale.
