Commercial Description:
Original Pub Style is a light copper-colored medium-bodied with a nice dry bite at the finish. A subtle combination of Cascade and Willamette hops give this ale a fine floral aroma and a slightly fruity aftertaste. The taste captures the freshness of a hand-crafted brew pub ale that goes right from the conditioning tank to your glass!

Bu au pub, à Portland, Maine, en fut (12 oz). Ambrè légé, petit collet. Arome d’houblon amère doux, un peu d’agrume. Goût d’houblon un peu amère et un peu fruité d’agrume, peu caramelisé.

12oz bottle via trade with porterhouse! - Thanks Kevin! - P ours pale amber with a short offwhite head that leaves some lace. Aromas of apples, and floral notes. Flavor is actually more malty with caramel than anything but there is a little fruity with apple and pear. Just slight bitterness at the somewhat dry finish. Lots of carbonation. Fairly refreshing and drinkable but not too memorable

Agree with the carbonation of earlier ratings but I still find this to be a bit smoother than many micro-brews. It has a sort of caramelish flavor to it. Sweet. Average to above average.

Decent sized frothy white head of varying sized bubbles. Good carbonation. Soft malty aroma with some butterscotch, vanilla and some very soft malts. It is like the aroma caresses the nose and you inhale. Nothing offensive but very soothing. Color is a medium golden orange. Zippy mouthfeel with more soft malts a bit of hops. Some bitter orange flavor at the finish which leaves a dry bitter feeling in the mouth. This is actually a little better than I expected but still not very good.

Not offensive but not at all interesting, either. Watery and too carbonated. Good lawnmower beer probably, but then, so is Miller Lite, in my opinion.

Light bodied summery pale ale with a decent subdued malt character and lighly bitter finish. A bit on the watery side. Nice caramel touch to the malt.

12 oz bottle. Didn’t like this one at all. Carbonation on this one was overpowering and the flavor, what there was of one, was odd and seemed to be off. I didn’t even finish the whole bottle and I always do.

A good session beer. Medium bodied, great overtones of Ringwood yeast. Refreshing. No complexity here.
