thornecb (1228), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Aug 24, 2008 Pours amber into a shaker. White head quickly recedes leaving spot lacing to skim surface. Lemon aromas. Crisp and malty with a dry finish.
hopscotch (4679), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Sep 29, 2008 Bottle... Clear amber ale with an orange tint and a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. Biscuity, sweaty nose. Light to medium-bodied with modest carbonation. Lightly acidic and mildly bitter, but mostly nondescript... inoffensive. Crisp, lightly tangy finish. The bottle may have been a bit off or oxidized. Easy to get, so I’ll revisit. BelgianBeerGal (1035), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 24, 2008 Bottle in Fryeburg, ME. A very subtle APA. I’m not opposed to subtle characteristics but this bordered on bland at times. Very good looking beer, but rather thin aroma and flavour. djones (100), Michigan, USA Sep 8, 2008 Clear amber-copper color. Medium light bodied, well carbonated and soft. Hoppy, but not overly so. Some caramel, orange, nothing stands out though. Dry in the end. klavoie22 (14), Newmarket, New Hampshire, USA Sep 5, 2008 A little dissapointed with the overall flavor but it’s not terrible, the words "pub style" excited me a bit much maybe? probstk (711), Nepean, Ontario, Canada Aug 28, 2008 12 fl oz bottle via Lubiere, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
