Commercial Description:
The perfect beer for the perfect time of the year! Summer Wheat Ale is our take on the traditional German "weisse" beers so popular in Europe. We use a two-to-one ratio of Pale to Wheat malts to craft an ale that's light on the palate, golden-hued and has a mild and satisfying maltiness. No strange fruits or spices! Just a crisp, refreshing brew.

Very clean and smooth for a Hefeweizen. Very mild and refreshing. Sampled at the St. Pete Florida Craft Beer Fest.

Draft on vacation to Maine.Nice Golden color, seemed likesome hop finish with modest carbonation, almost like a Koelsch with light fruit flavors naturally derived.

light amber, whispy head, slightly sweet malt aroma, light raspy wheat character, qood dose of bitterness in the finish, a touch of gritty’s house butterscotch in both the aroma and flavor

Pale golden beer, whitish head. Aroma is quite light and lean as would be expected. A touch of citrus and light cotton candy over extra light malt. Light earthiness and a bit of bright citrus on the back. It’s simple and refreshing and quite a good summer ale.

(Draft@Freeport) Clear (not cloudy) yellow-gold with small white head. Aroma very faintly bready, yeasty. Mouthfeel light, kind of thin, a little prickly and dry. Nice lacing. Flavor very yeasty and bready, a bit sweet. A bit of bitterness on back end. I liked the freshness. Not bad but not something I’d really yearn to go back to.

Bottle. Light pale color, with medium white head. Slight citrus in aroma, little watery in finish. Typical summer wheat beer.

Not that great. Light lager like coloration with a white head and again lager like aroma. Flavor wasn't worth mentioning and nothing that I would try again.
