Commercial Description:
VSA is an Extra Special golden ale that’s light in color but full-bodied, with a snappy hop finish. A bit of extra time in the conditioning tank rounds out and mellows the ale.

22oz. bottle from Willow Bend Liquors in Lutz, FL. Pours a cloudy golden-yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is pretty nice...citrus and marijuana. Flavor is alot of grass and some various citrus flavors. Very bad, sticky, dry, light mouthfeel. Overall its not awful, but the palate completely killed it for me.

(Bottle). Malty caramel aroma. Apple juice color, tiny head. Very mild malt flavor. Mostly watery. Disappointing.

This is one of my favorite summer ales. I had it on tap and out of a bottle in Maine at the brew Pub. It is very clean and refreshing, It pours yellow. It has a different taste then most summer beers. It does not have the over powering citrus flavor like most but has a nice hop taste with a slight citrus finish. This is a very good beer that would be good for a session

Pours yellow with small white head. Aroma is sweet malt, and some grain. Flavor is astringent and reminiscent of metal and grain. Palate is thin and watery. Wholly disappointing.

Bottle: Poured a golden color beer with a light foamy head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of medium sweet malt is somewhat boring. Taste is also somewhat bland with some light notes of medium sweet malt with no material notes of hops. This one is quaffable and refreshing but still too bland to be one of my summer beer.

Had it with a meal at Gritty’s Freeport. Not my favorite summertime drink.

Gold color with white head. Malt aroma with hops scent. Malt start with hop finish.

I have no idea why, but there is foul tasting finish to this otherwise light hopped light tasting summer ale. Just awful, really bad.
