| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 9, 2008 Golden, small foamy head. Smells like brown sugar toast, perhaps a light floral hop. Dry toasty malt flavors, with a light tingly resiny hop on the sides and back of the tongue. Crisp lightly bitter finish, and refreshing enough. Oakes (8093), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 27, 2008 Golden colour. Light caramel, toasty hop and diacetyl. Crisp, but watery golden ale with that definitive Ringwood diacetyl signature. Kind of boring. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA

It has a slight hop aroma with some floral notes. It tastes slightly hoppy but is a bit light and watery. Refreshing on a very hot day. I’d call in a decent lawn beer. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Draught @ Freeport tavern. Coppery gold, little head. Mild ringwood and diacetyle nose. Underdeveloped graininess. Diacetyl flavors too, gets worse by the sip. Some hop floating around but in general disappointing. kiefdog (1609), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours a hazy straw yellow, with lots of lacing and a thin watery head. Malty aromas, biscuit, some Ringwood yeast. Flavor is what you’d expect here: biscuit and malt, some oats maybe, and a nice floral ending. Very easy to drink and well-balanced. Not going to rate high but it’s a good simple beer.
