jgb9348 (1863), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Aug 11, 2008 Clear golden coloured body with an orange tint. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong malt backbone with some lighter spices and a tiny touch of hops. Alcohol and a dose of yeast also noticeable with more perfumey tastes coming strong afterwards. Overall, a good and refreshing beer, nothing amazing, but good to sample! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 12-July-2008.
DrDavid (486), Johnson, Vermont, USA Oct 3, 2008 (Bottle). Malty caramel aroma. Apple juice color, tiny head. Very mild malt flavor. Mostly watery. Disappointing. dangelicom1 (17), Shelton, Connecticut, USA Aug 25, 2008 This is one of my favorite summer ales. I had it on tap and out of a bottle in Maine at the brew Pub. It is very clean and refreshing, It pours yellow. It has a different taste then most summer beers. It does not have the over powering citrus flavor like most but has a nice hop taste with a slight citrus finish. This is a very good beer that would be good for a session oteyj (378), Canterbury, New Hampshire, USA Aug 22, 2008 Pours yellow with small white head. Aroma is sweet malt, and some grain. Flavor is astringent and reminiscent of metal and grain. Palate is thin and watery. Wholly disappointing. Boutip (1855), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Aug 21, 2008 Bottle: Poured a golden color beer with a light foamy head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of medium sweet malt is somewhat boring. Taste is also somewhat bland with some light notes of medium sweet malt with no material notes of hops. This one is quaffable and refreshing but still too bland to be one of my summer beer. urnamesucks (92), New York City, New York, USA Aug 20, 2008 Had it with a meal at Gritty’s Freeport. Not my favorite summertime drink.
