Commercial Description:
The DubbelHop Ale (known last year as Flemish Pale Ale) got delayed, but it should be on in November. It is not a Belgian Dubbel Ale, but a big, earthy, hoppy, fruity and yeasty beer (think Belgian IPA).

On tap at the brewpub. Aroma is a spritzy cookie sugar, faint. Flavor is a gently spicy brown sugar, glowing with some hop cone dust and lemon residue. It’s rather quiet overall and doesn’t really have a lot of the flavors that I would expect from a Dubbel. As well, the hop promise doesn’t really pan out as I expect some amount of good bite in the back splash of this beer. Underwhelming, but clean.

yeasty banana esthers, cloudy light orange, initially soft with a burst of spicy hops then yeasty with some sour/spritziness and a hop resurgence near the finish

Tap: Orange/amber in color. Strong hop bite up front. Well balanced through the middle. Slightly tart/sour finish.

On tap: Citrus aroma with light sourness. Goldish-orange, lightly hazy with a small white head. Okay lacing. Citrus up front. Some light banana. Nice bitter finish that balances well. A little tart.
