The pour is a nice amber color, with a big bubbly beige head. Aroma is of simple caramel malts. Very light bodied beer, the hops are there and well balanced with the caramel-ish malts. Finish is almost quick, but there is a lingering bitter taste.

Sep 28, 2008 Pours deep amber into a shaker. Fluffy off-white pancake batter head leaves spotty sheets. Stale caramel aromas. Crisp with deep sweet caramel upfront and a dry malty finish.

Aug 26, 2008 Nutmeg caramel nose, some slight hop spice.Crystal clear amber color with a frothy head. light malty sweetness, considerable bitterness. Well carbonated, thinner body, slightly astringent mouth feel, nice balanced finish. A very easy drinking beer with better than average bitterness for an Amber Ale.
