Jul 23, 2008 Bottle @ home. Ruby coloured beer, disappearing head. Aroma of roasted malts and brown sugar, also some lager-ish smell. And that’s where they lost me. I don’t like the sharp lager taste of Grolsch, and like in the Lentebock it’s also present in this one. This bock is also too sweet for my liking.

Feb 10, 2008 Bottle. Nose is warm and malty protein. Meaty. Warm malty, syrupy, very sweet, coating and warm. Finishes meaty and oddly with hints of pear. Not fantastic, that’s for sure.
