The flavor is quite sweet with some candy sugar, lemon sour candy, and cotton candy. A syrupy texture exists. Not bad considering the style. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 20, 2005 (bottle) Clear golden colour with a medium foamy yellow head. Sweet malty aroma with biscuits and a hint of ripe citrus fruits. The alcohol dominates this brew from the beginning to the end. Sweet, slightly toastmalty taste with an almost sticky alcoholic sweet finish. I´m not a pacifist but this one contains too much gunpowder for my kind of taste. shrubber85 (2916), Wallhalben, Germany

I believe I fell asleep after the second one (0.5L bottles)....It has a golden color, nice white head, tastes like alcohol, a bit sweet almost rhum...The beer is called The Canon, and a canon it is. You have to try it once, it is very powefull, but once is enough.. schuimkroaat (395), Leuven, Belgium

Forget the 11,6% thing, this is a decent tasting beer. I like the darker lager colour. Is the ABV over the top? Mibbies aye mibbies naw, but if you look at the label before buying then you know what you’re letting yourself in for.
Local supermarket selling it on a Sale for 1,45 Euro for 2 bottles!! :)
