Strong body, alcoholic, warming, sweet, malty. Ends with a strong bitterness. Somehow surprising. Thanks to Philippe (BOV) for this original beer. Dalle (1146), Skørping, Denmark

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 18, 2003 Rather alcoholic aroma. It tastes very funny, almost like Pisang Ambon. A funny and powerful beer. Much better than Gulpener Gladiator. jkeller (4), jacksonville, Florida, USA does not count | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 9, 2003 for such a nice bottle, I expected this beer to be much better than what it was. Nice to try, nice to tryu again, but you won't see me drinking it on a sunny terrace.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 24, 2002 Golden coloured. Not much head. Lots of sweetness and malts in the aroma. In the flavour its alcahol and sweetness, with alcahol burn as the dominant taste impression. This is not a beer you drink in 2 minutes. It’s way to heavy. For me this is definately not a great beer, simply because of the alcahol dominans. A little below average is all I can give it.
