Bottle: Golden, small white foamy layer, lazy carbonation, Korn (german Schnapps) like alcoholic nose, containing traces of grains; sweet-alcoholic taste and, quelle surprise, not so full bodied; fruity traces in the warming alcoholic finish. A "beer" for drunkards.........

300ml bottle bought in Amsterdam and aged for 7 months in my closet....3 months past its expiration date. Nice medium golden color, with a pleasant effervescence. Sugary sweet, but complex enough to remain drinkable, which is impressive considering the ABV. A unique beer, worth trying if you are into stronger beers.

33cl bottle. Aroma: heavy sweet and alcoholic. Appearance: Golden and clear with white fast disappearing head. Flavor and Palate: A hard stuff - really alcoholic but not as heavy as you would think of such a beer. Not much characteristics beside a sweet maltiness. Overall: Not bad, but too alcoholic taste and something unspectacular.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a brownish golden with a small white head and a smell of mainly alcohol and yeast. Taste is dominated by alcohol, but it also has some ripe fruits and malt. A tiny bit of hop in the finish. Nothing spectacular except the amount of alcohol

Canned(500ml). -as Grolsch Kanon from some small shop in Amsterdam.
Dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, sweet alcoholic nose. The aroma is also very alcoholic and sweet malty but this is very easy drinkable brew. Few light years better than Bavaria 8.6.

Can (Grolsch Kanon) shared with and courtesy of ozujsko (thanks!)
Poured a golden colour with a medium sized head that went away slowly. The nose was ok; caramel, oranges, alcohol. The taste was sweet, sugary, and loaded with alcohol and yet somehow pleasant, toffeeish and fruity. Clean. Really good for the style and damn drinkable. Heck, if I needed to get drunk fast this’d probably be my choice.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is dark golden. Aroma is sweet with malt and alcohol. Taste is syrupy sweet with lots of alcohol.
