kidmartinek (734), austin, Texas, USA Aug 30, 2008 Smells like skunky hops and corn sugar water coming out of the bottle. A clear, but lightly yellow tinted pour with an antique white head of 1 inch, which settles promptly and holds to a 1/4" film. The aroma cleans up as the beer settles and becomes more mild, hoppy, and sweet. The flavor is pretty sweet. I just can’t get past the corn syrup. It’s a toss up of flavors, sometimes malty and bitter, and sometimes sugary. The palate is too sweet. There is no finish. mabel (1673), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 14, 2008 [1568-20080803] 500mL can. Hay aroma has a bit of wet grains. Clear, light orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Grainy boozy hay continues in a boring flavour fashion. Light medium body. Poor. jerc (3217), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 4, 2008 2008-08-03. Golden body with a modest white head. Muted aroma, muted grains with very mild yeast accents. Mild flavour with a very light bitterness, mild floral/grassy character, touches of straw. Average to light palate. Not offensive, but fairly bland. Can from LCBO Sammy (3141), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 2, 2008 After a run of good beers, we introduced this in the mix. This can spews out a fizzy foamed pale yellow colour with a slightly cheesy aroma. Its thinnish body of metallic malted water gives momentary repause on thirst, and that, 10% of the can, was..enough. spkevin (22), Doetinchem, Netherlands Aug 2, 2008 500ml can @ home. Pours a clear golden colour with a good head. Head quickly turns in a small foam. Taste is watery but refreshing. Not bad but nothing special. Just a normal lager.
