LJBrewing (22), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Jul 7, 2005 The problem is most time you only get a "light struck" skunky old sittin on the shelf too long bottle. But if you happen upon a fresh one like I have, this is a wonderful lager. The aroma when you first pop the top is reminiscent of, well, maryjane, or so they tell me. Crisp, nice malt notes. About the best you can expect from a premium lager.
blipp (961), Grand Island, New York, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Malty straw aroma with light hops. The flavor has a nice balance of grainy malt and light hops. Very decent. Ober (529), Best, Netherlands Nov 20, 2008 A clear yellow colored beer, with a foamy white head. The aroma is hoppy and malty with fruits in the back. The taste is hoppy bitter, with fresh fruity tones of citrus. The aftertaste has a little bitterness. drjay44 (225), Colorado, USA Nov 20, 2008 12 oz bottle. Rated as a Eurolager. Pours a thin head, minimal retention, minimal lacing, over a pale gold clear body...nose is mild, some mild hop, some mild malt..... tastes primarily of lightness, bit of malt, bit of hop....mouthfeel OK for a very light summer beer. I think Stella and Hiny are better. 11/07/2008. undercurrent25 (30), Barnton, Cheshire, England Nov 1, 2008 Quite a crisp tasting beer, not much else to say about this one really as it is very similar to a lot of other beers out there Straling (92), Amstenrade, Netherlands Nov 1, 2008 Bottle 33cl.
Pours a clear golden ’’pilsener’’ colour with a normal size head and good carbonation.
Smell is almost absent, hardly anything there to smell.
Taste is rather vile in comparison to other beers and this is definitly very bad.
