omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 25, 2008 Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, rich lively head. Fruity phenolc nose. Sweet with raspberry and banana esters. Vanilla and wheat malt character covered by thin layers of syrup. A correctly made, refreshing weizen, surprisingly good for a big brewer! oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland May 20, 2007 Draught. Hazy pale golden colour, big creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, malts, citrusy hops and some slight notes of plastic. Flavour is citrus, wheat some malts and hints of caramel. A decent Hefeweizen, even though the plastic aroma ruins it a bit. MiP (6337), Flensburg, Germany May 19, 2006 Bottle. Weak wheaty aroma. Cloudy golden colour, small stable white head. OK wheat flavour. Not very spicy or citrusy. Not much esters either, but definitely German style. Slightly unpleasant bitterness in aftertaste.Turns orange and a bit more flavourful as the sediment is mixed with the rest of the beer. Not sure this was entirely fresh, BB MRT 06, March 06? Could be 2 months past BB date then. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 24, 2007 On draught at some deli near Blackfriars, Glasgow. Well an odd beer for number 3700. Cloudy orange gold beer with lasting thin white head. Cereal aroma, slight banana, bit of stale cardboard. Some bubble gum on aroma, lots of bubblegum in mouth, good fullness. Good full bananary, bubble gum wheat beer, a little sweet maybe, some fizz on tongue on finish which mostly comes from the carbonation. Maybe just a little too sweet and artificial. Still, decent competent wheat beer. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Feb 10, 2007 Tap@Lowlander, Covent Garden. A below average wheat beer. Some light clovey and wheaty malt characters, with a spritzy lemon finish. But it feels to thin and slightly metallic.
