Commercial Description:
Theodorus ca.1166-1236 founder of the Stichter van de orde van de Kruisheren orde. Theodorus is a lovely abbey dubbel brewed from hops and roasted barley. Best served in a Kruisheren glass from the Ter Apel monastry.

Hazy brown colour, tan head. Aroma has some fruits and spices. Flavour is of caramel malts. Nothing special.

Pours with a gigantic, rocky, light brown head that leaves great lacing, and a deep brown body. Aroma is deep with dark fruits, berries, pears, lightly spiced and some alcohol. Taste is yeasty with deep fruits and something minerally.

bottle thanks to bu11zeye. deep brown pour with a 2 finger cream head. nice nose of malts, brown sugar, dried fruits, caramel, molasses and baked pear. very fruity apple flavor with a lot of yeast and earthy notes.

Bottle, 7%. Fruity brown sugar aroma. Citric flavour. Very high carbonation. Some roasted notes behind all the citrkic flavours and CO2.
