(on bottle) Dark amber color, white head. A very mild and drinkable märzen, lmost no hoppy marks at all; all just mellow and sweet malts here. Light carbonated and very light mouthfeel. Caramels and barley all the way through.

(swing top bottle, 5.3%) Clear, mahogany colour with a thick light-beige foamy head. Slightly-sweet and and toasted malty nose with a touch of caramel, raisins and a light woody hoppy note, which seems to be typical for the Grosch brewery. Slightly roasty and hop-bitter flavour, toasted malty taste with caramel and subtle fruity accents of raisins; rather dry and toasty finish with a moderate woody hoppy touch. Nice and mild Dunkel (10.X.08).
