MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 4, 2008 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a diminishing frothy white head. Slightly sweet malty and slightly musty nose with a light herbal hoppy notes. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Slightly strawy malty taste with shy herbal notes in the background; quite dry and light-bitter finish, that becomes a bit harsh at the very end (12.09.07). Saarlander (1475), Upland, California, USA Aug 25, 2008 A malty, bready brew, easy drinking, head is gone quickly, refreshing, but not one of Grosswald’s better brews, ok though. MiP (6337), Flensburg, Germany Jan 17, 2008 Bottle, 5.1%. Dusty, sweet and malty aroma. Clear, shiny golden colour. Unstable white head. The flavour is nicely malty, but has a quite rough bitterness. Harmonious enough, though. joss (3249), Garching b. München, Germany Oct 21, 2007 Bottle. Plae golden, white head. Sweet sugary malt aroma, with a few aromatic hop notes. Body on the light side - getting more of a pilsner vibe here - pronounced hop profile, flowery, citrus. Quickly petering out. medium to light body pivnizub (4007), Porúří, Germany Sep 19, 2007 Bottle: Delicate, a bit musty grainy-sourish nose, pale greenish-golden, slowly vanishing white head; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, becomes a bit more bitter in the finish. Not a great beer...
