Botle. Fairly subdued aroma. Cloudy brown, golden foam. Light roasted aroma. Fairly light on the palate - a bit roast and banana, a hint piment, citrus, bit chocolate in the aftertaste. Bubbly. mouthfeel. Fresh

Bottle: Reddish-amber coloured, medium-sized off-white head, slowly collapsing, lively carbonation; grainy dark-malty and sweet-fruity nose; moderate sweet, a bit bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; nearly sweet-vinous and mainly malty finish. Too sweet, not really refreshing.........

Bottle, 5.3%. Some banana in aroma. Cloudy, muddy brown colour. Small stable white head. Good sweet flavour, some banana, slightly roasted. Spicy and quite flavourful.

(bottle, from Saarlander) Cloudy, amber colour with a big foamy off-white head. Sweetish and slightly sour wheat aroma with banana, dried fruits and light notes of cloves. Slightly sweet flavour, mild wheat-malty taste, slightly ashy with a fruity background, medium to light bodied with a crispy carbonation; malty, slightly fruity finish with light notes of cloves.

I liked the dunkelweizen much more than the regular hefeweizen, simply because of flavor, the dunkel weizen has much more, abit of citrus, and much more banana flavor, abit of clove too, a good dunkelweizen.
