750ml bottle via Hagen. Pours a hazy brown with a massive beige head. Nose is mildly sour and earthy. Taste starts with some sourness, then some berries, some biscuitiness, ALLSPICE, and a bit of a DRY graininess in the finish. Body is light/medium, carbonation is high. Would be much better with less carbonation covering all the flavors ( i just nitro-d it and easily discovered this).

TAP: hazy brown pour, beige head. Aroma is grape/raison, Belgian taste of yeast, malt, fairly complex. Really good stuff.

Bottled 33cl. 6.5 ABV. Hazy brown beer with a huge mountainous light beige head which leaves some lacework. Sweet spicy aroma with caramel, honey, clove, nutmeg, a lot of plum, orange peel, vitamin tablets and a strong yeast character which is reminiscent of Unibroue. Sweet yeasty taste with plum, yeast, clove, nutmeg and orange peel showing up. A tad acidic, citrusy. Lively carbonation. Yeasty finish with lingering hints of marmite, very faint burnt plastic and nutmeg. A very yeasty, spicy brew I didn’t enjoy a lot. Interesting.

Bottle. Nice beer! Brown pour, tan head. Prunes, raisins, yeast, spice aroma. Flavor is full of the prune and raisin flavors with some interesting tartness. I liked it. arrogantb is right, good food beer.

A friend was kind enough to share this with me. It had a cloudy yellow color that looked murky and the head was a white sticky pillow. The smell was musty and earthy to me. The flavors tastes yeasty, Belgian, and not much fruit. For some reason I think this would be perfect with some mussels and pomme frites. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 09-12-2007 14:58:02

A 0.33L bottle from Alko shop. Fruity nose. Pale beige head. Hazy pale brown colour. Spicy malty taste with some hints of prunes. Not sweet. Slightly sour. At the end hoppiness and bitterness.

Brown body. Sweet taste with fall spice flavors, maybe cinnamon. Easy to drink , but not as complex as I would have like. Mild and average.

Bottled: Aroma is sourly/fruity, notes of plums, spices and herbs. Hazy, brown color, foamy off-white head. Fruity, sourly flavor. Notes of bananas, grapes, lemon peel, herbs and some alcohol. Notes of cinammon, cloves, herbal hops in the end. Dry, quite bitter end. Complex, tasty beer.
