Pours a light brown with frothy tan head. Aroma is apricot, pears and other fruit. Somewhat malty. Improves as it warms. Pretty smooth. Sweet, then dry bitter finish.

Brown body with a large brown head. Nice mollasses aroma, earthy accents from the cave-ageing definatly show here. Nice caramel malt body, cherries and again some earth overtones. Cool ending.

Half pint poured at The White Horse on Parsons Green (London), ruby red with a filmy head. An interesting aroma, caramal and milk chocolate with rich cherries. A good carbonation in the mouth that lightens the rich cherry flavour, combined with an oakiness. Very good.

Aroma: sharp apples, slight carbon, some earth and a hint of caramel. Appearance: dark brown with red highlights, very murky. Large tan head that poures with larger bubbles then settles quite hard, leaves sheet lacing. Flavour: hoppy bitter with some earthen notes then lots of caramel and some malty/grainy notes. Palate: medium to thick mouthfeel and a lingering bitterness.

A fully lasting large creamy tan head tops up a hazy medium brown body. Moderate lacing. No particles. Few small bubbles. Aroma presents malt being light caramel with nuts overtone. Hops are light lemon / lime ... Yeast character is moderate dough. Also, there are evident evocations of plum prune and faint notes of spices and red fruits. Initial flavor is medium sweet (caramel) while development presents spices and cherry. Finish is medium . medium body... oily texture... Lively carbonation... warming alcohol, smooth tartness.
