As it warmed coffee and chocolate notes rose from the glass. Lots of bready character, but little to speak of in the way of fermentation characteristics. Worth seeking out, but it is not terribly complex. Serve it just below room temperature for the full flavor experience. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

Bready and cake characters on palate with hints of mocha caramel and pralines. The alcohol is comletely buried under the malt. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA

Pours with a huge white head and a very deep ruby and brown body. Aroma is candied yams and apples with cinnamon. The taste is peach skins with some light nutmeg and dark bread. Relatively dry like many dubbels. legion242 (1587), Richardson, Texas, USA

Very much like a spicy brown ale with the sweetness of the Dubbel. My next trip to Georgia will require me to pick up several more bottles. ChristianSA (368), Copenhagen, Denmark

Aroma of hops and some diesel oil. Flavor is onedimensional and quite hoppy for a belgian beer without much maltiness. Bitter dry finish. A bit sharp. GilBier (75), Dendermonde, Belgium

Medium sweet nose with nut aroma’s, sugars, malts, cocolate, coffee and dry fruits. Taste is malty, soft, light spicy and a bit light on the pallet. RAYBOY01 (1869), Chicago, Illinois, USA

It pours out a rich brown color with a lofty tan head. The flamora ia absolutely A-One. It carries very nice vanilla, sweet malts, and delicate spices in its scent. But it has a very watery, insipid body. The flavors seem like they would please, but they’re too darned weak to appreciate. Sorry, Joe.
