Bottle. Chestnut thin beige head. Yeasty, spicey. Caramel and yeast in mouth with a lemony finish which is odd for a beer of this colour. Toasty toffee aroma. Some hop. Full in mouth. Excellent malt in mouth with hop/yeast finish. Good beer.

Bottle - 330ml. Dark brown cloudy body with a thin off-white foamy head. Nice malty aroma with brown sugar, caramel, plum and grape hints. Taste is well balanced, mild, and ends with a short, dry bittersweet finish.

75 cl. corked bottle shared with friends. Pours brown with a really big head and an aroma of ripe banana’s and a hint of alcohol. Taste is really standard, like every Belgian ale out there. Nothing specia;

75cl corked 2005 bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with light sediment and a short white head. Very spicey aroma with a little sugar too. Flavour was nice but finished a little sour and the mouthfeel was a little thinner than expected. Good but not great.
