Pours a rich clear brown with a thick creamy head. Aroma is mild and caramely. Sweet bready and earthy Belgian malt flavor. Mild chocolate toward the end, but somewhat thin and bland.

Aug 20, 2008 A hazy red/brown colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. It leaves a nice lace on the glass. he aroma a dark fruits, sweets and caramel malts. the taste is a little spicey, fruits, a little cherry and prune. Very little aftertaste.

Aug 14, 2008 750ml Bottle: Aroma of figs, plums, yeast, and malts. Poured medium brown/dark amber in color with a medium-sized tan head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Full of small particles. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malts, spices, yeast, alcohol, and dried fruits. Medium body. Average texture. Lively carbonation. Yeasty, dark fruit finish is dry.
