Pours a muddy brown with a decent tan head. Nose is malted but with lots of spice. Has a dry hint to it as well. Also a mustiness or funkiness to it. Tart sweet-sour taste with a carbonated feel on the tongue. Good stuff.

Oct 15, 2008 Sample from Durham WBF. Not surprisingly, a cloudy brown pour. Malty and earthy. Sweet. Caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and sweet fruits. Worth trying again.
