smith4498 (339), Miami, Florida, USA May 11, 2008 Pours dark amber with light tan head. Aromas of fruits and Belgian yeast. Malty flavor with some dark fruits and caramel with a slight metallic finish. Thin, watery mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Not bad, but a little diasppointing.
Chrism86 (57), Melbourne, Australia Aug 29, 2008 Pours a dull, deep ruby tending to auburn with a substantial but rather loosely packed off white head. Aromas are dominated by honey and caramel with obvious banana and hinting raisins. Palate seems alot more reserved. Caramel/toffee seem to accompany sweet malt with yeasty banana characters coming through. Finish is rather malty with subtleties of liquered raisins.
