| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2007 My bottle has a yellow label. Poured a dirty orangey gold with a large pillowy head. Aroma was earthy and funky, some pepper, coriander, faint sourness, and just an overall warmth to it. Spicy pepper taste, some dirt, funk, a little hot on the throat. Finishes dry, and noticably hoppy and spicy. A little heavy on the pepper qualities (in both spice and bitterness). Creamy but too prickly with the carbonation. Quite an enjoyable ale, the very subtle hints of sourness were kinda cool. iwantalambic (1389), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 20, 2007 [750 mL bottle, corked & caged]: Bright yellow-gold, shiny ivory, small, bubbled head. Light bran and oats, honey and floral aroma. Carbonation is a bit intense but settles into a smooth, bubbly texture that is pleasant on the tongue. Toasted grains, light lemon zest and pineapple. The flavours grow and accumulate on the tongue and end quite enjoyably. badgerben (3610), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 11, 2007 Cloudy gold color with a medium head. Vague coriander aroma. Some spiciness in the flavor with a strong yeasty and bready body. A good, standard Belgian Ale. jujubeast6000 (799), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 3, 2007 (25.4oz bottle,BB18/09/09): Pours a cloudy golden yellow color. Very fizzy, with a smallish foamy headj good lacing, lasting. Good sweet strong sugary aroma. A lot like Belgian Ales, but more sweet smelling. Sourish taste, a litlle more mellow on the tongue on the aftertaste. A lot lilke the Belgian but only the bitter part. Flowery. Interesting, but not as good as a regular Belgian ale. More mellow. madsberg (5072), Søborg, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 29, 2007 Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense beige ehad. Fruits and light sourness in the aroma. Light yeasty. Flavour is fruity and sourish. Has some light caramel notes and again yeast. Is medium bodied. Is light fruity and grapish in the end. Easy to drink, dry and quite refreshing. Optigon (562), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Pours cloudy and yellow. Aroma of wheat and spice. Rather yeasty. Moderate mouth feel with a strong yeast profile, mildly sour. Not crazy great, but not bad either. Very akin to common Triples like Tremens to me. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Apr 24, 2007 looks like i threw away my rating for this too. it was pretty much miller lite in appearance, it wasn’t really complex or special. it had a bit of sourness and some farmhouse going on, but overall it wasn’t something i’d ever buy again.
