emerica56 (497), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA May 31, 2008 The color is a dark redish brown that is non transparent there is also no head at all. The nose has a nice tart aroma with cherry and other dark fruits. Initially there the beer is nice and tart with cherry and black currant. The beer has a nice finish that consists of toasted caramel malt and fruit. Overall it is a nice and refreshing beer and i just love how they mixed the tart and sutle fruit flavors so well.
marcus (1119), Sacramento, California, USA Nov 21, 2008 This hazy golden ale poured with a decent white head and a musty aroma. The flavor is caramel malt with lots of spice, predominately coriander, leaving a yeasty taste on the palate. fonefan (5547), Ulfborg, Denmark Nov 20, 2008 Bottle 75cl.
Unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, spicy, moderate yeasty, coriander. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (050908) ajwilliams (48), , Indiana, USA Nov 2, 2008 Pours a light cloudy amber with a thin but very persistent head. In fact, the off-white head is one of the high points of this beer. The flavor starts sweet and finishes just sour, with a hint of bitter in the aftertaste. Good aroma, simple but decent flavor with enough complexity to make it worth while. Not as good as Grotten’s other offerings, though. durhambeer (619), Durham, USA Oct 15, 2008 Sample pour from WBF in Durham. Bright cloudy golden pour. A little bit of earthy funk, yeast and lemon. Cloves. Solid beer but not amazing. Would like to taste more fully. faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Sep 9, 2008 Botella. Thanks yespr. Cloudy deep golden with a nice well lasting creamish head. Fruity and yeasty bit spiced aroma. Fruity, yeasty, malty and mildly spiced flavour with some alcohol. Dry fruity finish. Tasty brew indeed.
