tony jaradthescot (5), London, Ontario, Canada does not count Dec 22, 2006 Smelt like someone put a few Granny smith apples in a blender. Delish’. Very clear appearance with no head at all. Tasted just like biting into a granny apple but had a very sour bite to it. Not my favourite cider, but not the worst either. wnp22 (679), Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, Canada Oct 14, 2003 Tasted in Toronto from LCBO. Light yellow colour, clear. Aroma is very granny smith - totally green apple light scent. Sweet. Sweet flavour with a hint of tangy granny smith apple sweetness. MartinT (4458), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Nov 26, 2004 Sweet and musty apple perfume over a cheap champagne-y bubbling...Earthy connotations arise and disappear, bubblegum powder hugs the green apples a bit too snugly...Pleasantly tasty and refreshing for a commercial cider, and I admit I was quite surprised to liking this, not for its complexity, but for its all-around flavorful drinkability...Thanks Stephen!!... ciderguy (97), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 30, 2003 Again, let me begin by sending kudos to radiomgb for letting me have a an opportunity to review this specimen. Nose was light and fragrant, sweet apples the overwhelming scent. Pour was faint on color with no head worth speaking of. Flavor was not quite as sweet as the Macintosh varitey. Still though, probably more sweet than I am acustomed to. Crisp and sweet are the best to adjectives I can come up with to describe it. The 7.0% ABV really shows through after a couple of them. Aftertaste was a little on the "follow you around side. Overall, I'd say it was better than the Macintosh, but still a little too sweet for my palate.
