Firkin @ DuClaw Real Ale Festival. Deep brown/black opaque color with little head. Deep malty nose, with some smoke and burnt sugar aromas. Great bourbon like flavor with alot of sweetness. A bit out of balance. Nice barley wine. Little carbonation would cut through the sweetness.
