Apr 8, 2009 Growler courtey of pepsican. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of flowers, nutty, funky, grassy, hay. Tastes dry with some mellow tartness, subdued citrus, funky with a dry finish. enjoyable and pretty true to style.

Apr 16, 2009 Growler pour courtesy of the BMan1113VR. Clear gold color with little head. Spicy pale lager, grainy malt aromas. Light/medium body. Lightly sweet n’ spicy pale malt flavors with tart wheat. Enjoyed this one.

May 12, 2009 Growler thanks to Bman1113vr. Clear look , golden color with a thinner white head. The smell is spices, orange peel, wheat, and cooriandor. The taste is fruity, tartness, spices, yeast.

Jul 28, 2008 On draught at the brewpub in downtown Mt Horeb, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy golden blonde brew with fast dissolving white head that quickly dissipates to a fine white ring. Aroma of banana, light cloves, yeast, some golden grain malt, honey and a touch of herbs. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, some honey, light cloves and a touch of lemon. Finish is semi-sweet at first that changes to a tart lemon and crisp aftertaste. Some multi personality character going on with this saison.

Jul 21, 2008 On tap at the Grumpy Troll Brew Pub. Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a very small size dhead. Aromas of woodiness, earthy, and some fruitiness. Tastes of earthiness, fruity, honeycomb, and some spices. Light sour finish.

Jan 29, 2009 Updated: Jan 30, 2009Orange pour with a small white head. Lemon zest, orange peel, and honey aroma. More lemon goodness in the flavor with a nice combination of malty sweetness and some sourness to finish it out. Tart but sweet...like sweet tarts (imagine that) Yum.

Feb 23, 2009 I’m pretty glad I tried this out, I almost didn’t. Pours a golden color with a small head. The aroma is just mildly funky and largely sweet with some floral notes. Flavor is really different for a Saison; there is certainly some funky tartness that pairs well alongside the citrus flavors. This has a real sweet & sour thing happening which is pretty nice and very refreshing.

Oct 13, 2008 G.A.B.F. 2008: (Labeled as Sassion) Hazy light golden pour. The aroma has some soft yeast notes, with apple crisp and soft citrus. Soft and fluffy on the palate. The flavor has some light sweet esters/yeasty, mildly tart lemon notes as well. Fairly clean finish with just a touch of yeast. Pretty nice.
