Pours a hazy golden blonde brew with fast dissolving white head that quickly dissipates to a fine white ring. Aroma of banana, light cloves, yeast, some golden grain malt, honey and a touch of herbs. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, some honey, light cloves and a touch of lemon. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 23, 2009 I’m pretty glad I tried this out, I almost didn’t. Pours a golden color with a small head. The aroma is just mildly funky and largely sweet with some floral notes. Flavor is really different for a Saison; there is certainly some funky tartness that pairs well alongside the citrus flavors. This has a real sweet & sour thing happening which is pretty nice and very refreshing. PilsnerPeter (2617), Flushing, New York, USA
