Oct 13, 2008 On draught at the brewpub in downtown Mt Horeb, Wisconsin. Pours an opaque dark brown brew with no head. Aroma of mostly bourbon and vanilla with a hint of toasted dark malt. Taste is medium bodied, no carbonation with flavors of mostly bourbon, a touch of oak that hides any of the toasted dark malt flavors. Finish has toasted dark malt and bourbon with some vanilla aftertaste. Definitely more bourbonized flavor in this stout compared to the regular Spetsnaz Export version.
