I’m not a big lager fan but this is 1 of 5 lagers that i will drink. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Crisp, fresh, lively flavors of grains and corn, lightly sweet, with more of a sour note in the finish. A good pre-prohibition style lager, easy to drink and refreshing and made without any glaring defects. brewblackhole (1380), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2009 Mild grain aroma, somehow you get the sense that there will be sweetness in the taste, sure enough ,flavor has a grain malt tasting, with a little sugary sweetness,it does have that light tartness to it,like some wheat was used. I would not describe this a crisp and clean, had more ale like characteristics. No off tastes, nice enough 1FastSTi (2560), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 21, 2007 Thin pale yellow body with a white head. The flavor is full of flowery hops and lager yeasts. Crisp and clean and quite refreshing. The aroma is flowery hops and corn grains. Fuller mouthfeel than I’d expect. I’d drink this again as it is a good beer for the masses. This was the first sample that I tried. It is definitely just what it advertises - a pale lager. That means simple and a nice thirst quencher. While it isn’t a style that I tend to visit often I wish more brewpubs had a fallback like this. You can tell some important things about a brewer by how well they do the ’easy’ styles and this is no exception.
Aroma / Appearance - The body was the color of white grape juice with no head to speak of. Lemons, orange peels and wheat formed the bulk of the complexity (or should I say lack of complexity). It was satisfying yet even for a simple beer it felt like there could have been just a bit more to it.
Aroma / Appearance - The easy drinking citrus flavored sample was soon gone. I was able to pick up a trace amount of bitterness but this was a very simple beer. I’d place it slightly above New Glarus Totally Naked which means if I ever come back and want a light session beer this will be my first order. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

Its aroma and flavor are fairly typical and average. It has a decent maltiness and is refreshing, but other than that, this pale ale is nothing special.
Sample (draught) at the Grumpy Troll Brewery, Restaurant and Pizzeria in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. Rating #18 for this beer.

Aroma of crisp noble hops and pale malt with some graininess. Starts light with a faint hint of sweetness and some grainy malt before a drier bitter finish. Pretty refreshing and drinkable, but nothing too exciting.
