Commercial Description: O.G. 1.068, 70 IBU's, AbV 7%. Red/brown in color, Ray's Rye has an uncommon combination of rye and black malt giving a mild, rich maltiness and a hint of roast. The warm and soothing appeal of the rye malt is shared well with a robust hop flavor, aroma, and bitterness.
Draft at the brewpub. Clear orange brown color. Head was off white and reduced rapidly. Not much aroma other than a hint of brown sugar and light flowery hops. Tasted of fig and light malty brown sugar.
