fonefan (5547), Ulfborg, Denmark Nov 26, 2008 Can 50cl.
Clear light to medium amber color with a small small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted notes, sugar, sour sweet apple cider. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a longg to average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (100908) estpiwo (266), Estonia Nov 21, 2008 Can. Dark amber color with small head. Sweet aroma. Not so sweet flavor and finish is light bitter. Interesting. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 7, 2008 (Can 50 cl) Courtesy of MiP. Clear amber golden with a small, rough off-white head. Sweet aroma of roasted malt. Light-bodied, very sweet and herbal with berry accents and a medicinal touch. Quite interesting if it wasn’t for an extremely metallic tang - it’s like licking a bar of iron! No bitterness. 100908 bluevegie (1818), Perth, Australia Oct 1, 2008 Dull dark copper coloured body with a light tan head. Fairly strong aroma, sweet, bready and loads of caramel. Taste is far too heavy and sweet for me to enjoy or even finish for that matter, not saying it is bad just not a beer for me.
