The beer pours smooth and leaves a somewhat thin white head. The smell, while not strong, is clean. The beer tastes wheaty, with a slightly creamy finish. Hard to put my finger on what exactly the aftertaste is, but it really stands out on a post-sip burp. Its not entirely great. In fact the initial taste is better.
The color is a cloudy light gold.
Personally I felt that the aftertaste hurt the overall flavor, and therefore the drinkability.

More witty than weissy in look. healthy frothy head. Slightly citrusy or sour aroma. Soft carbonation. Slightly watery and with a touch of sour sharpness in the mouth. Taste, however, is pleasantly wheaty, more weissy than witty, with some caramel and a decent taste of hops that stay for a pleasant finish. More yeast didn’t fill in the body much, if anything all it did was highlight the sour sharpness. Just falls short of being positively good in each attribute, but a very near miss. Poured into 250ml handled glasses. Pale gold colour with plenty of yeast haze. Right on style for a weizen. Firm foamy white head, moderate carbonation. Aroma of banana and clove phenol. Smooth mouthfeel, could be more carbonated, but not at all flat. Banana, clovey, spicy flavour, low bitterness. Very delicious weizen. estpiwo (490), Estonia

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 16, 2008 Purchased at Grocery Outlet. The had cases and cases of this stuff. Selling for roughtly $12.00 a case. Right next to the Baltika 3. They must have really wanted to dump this stuff. Anyways, the beer really wasn’t up to the style it says it is. The beer pours out a golden yellow, slightly hazy with a huge pale lageresque type head. No lacing and the head melted really quickly. Aroma is lemons, wet hay, slightly grassy, a bit tart and some subtle skunk. Mouthfeel is watery. Flavors are practically nil, with some sweetness up front and an odd sourness on the back. Strange beer. Nothing redeeming at all. Didn’t even finish the beer it was that lackluster. IEBAILI (123), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 12, 2007 Pretty cloudy gold beer from a green bottle, not surprisingly the smell has a little skunkiness but not so bad to ruin it. Some mild lemon, some grassiness, taste is pretty clean, a little tart, typical wheat flavor but without any spice. Refreshing and drinkable but simple and nearly bland. Finish has a bit more fruitiness, some good flavors here, just not much of it. Nice body, not watery at all in its feel. Not bad but I wouldn’t seek it out. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2007 This #3.00 bottled brew from a bottle shop was marked 11/205 L30 05 05 and poured a very large sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy with with yeast swirls softly carbonated light yellow colored body. The aroma was hoppy malty and mild floral. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild citrus malt hops and dough. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
