VENOM (941), Connecticut, USA Dec 18, 2002 Misty chartreuse. Sticky, dense alabaster foam. Single lined carbonation. Mild toasted white bread aroma, herbal hops and traces of hard water minerals. Boldly crisp and inviting but with a weak bready flavor. Fine herbal hop balance and bitterness. Fairly clean. Tastes adjunct free. Light body. Sharp texture. Bitterness overwhelms the timid sweetness. Finishes with metallic, mineral notes, traces of wet paper but a solid hop charge. Respectable.

PilsnerPeter (1631), Flushing, New York, USA Oct 8, 2007 Bottle - Labeled as Zhiguly: A light yellow golden with a slight haze topped by a quickly fading white head. Odd papery esters in the nose. The flavor is extremely sweet, yet never seems corn syrupy or adjunct-like. There’s also a late grassy bitterness that saves it. Not altogether a failure. bager (2063), Copenhagen N, Denmark Apr 23, 2007 Bottled. Golden yellowish in colour with a medium sized white head. Sweet and malty with notes of straw, metal, bread, alcohol and a somewhat fruity sweetness. Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 2, 2007 Bottled. A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw, and so is the flavor. Nothing special. faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Feb 13, 2007 Goldenish. Short bubbly white head. Aroma of some malt and grains. Weak flavour of malt, bit sweet with a slight hoppiness. Thin brew.
