Ruby brown with a thin tan head, looks like porter rather than the regular Guinness I’m use to. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and light chocolate, Taste is sub par with not a whole lot of flavor – but more than regular Guinness. Falvors include mildly roasted malts, mild chocolate and sulfur. Thin, weak and not very good – but perhaps I should have expected that since they use "triple hops" lol. scrizzz (1327), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2009 Toasted aroma with a creaminess from the thick dense head. Seems light bodied. Dark dark brown. Very light bodied, thin and soft carbonation. The initial roasted malt is dispersed from the active carbonation. Actually quenching for a stout. I don’t know why people say Guinness is heavy. I mean really. JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Black pour with a creamy tan head. The aroma is lightly caramelly with a kiss of soft cola-ish character. A bit of deeper brown malts on the back as well. Flavour is fairly nice. Roasty with a softly bitter cocoaish character. The malts are also pretty well-developed with a bit of soft toasted nuttiness. Nicely roasty with a bit of light malt sweetness on the back. I don’t know why this isn’t what they sell everywhere... it isn’t half bad. craftycarl21 (576), South Hero, Vermont, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Thin black pour with very minimal head. Aroma and flavor are both very similar- barley, bready notes, and a bit of metal. Nothing special, but worth trying for a special release brew. Jblauvs (619), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2009 Alright stout. I had very high expectations for this beer...they came up a little bit short. Flavor was definitely different from a normal Guinness, but it not that great. Poured like a Guinness, but it had a more metallic finish, and it was slightly sweeter. halfonit (479), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 18, 2009 I’m a little bit let down by this one. Has the typical black color, but there’s hardly any head; and what there was is gone within a minute. Aroma is of malts with a little bit of chocolate. Taste is malty with aluminum bitterness. Maybe the 275th anniversary will be better. Block (379), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 16, 2009 Pour looks very similar to straight Guinness. Black with a tan head. Flavor is similar also however this one seems to be overly carbonated and not nearly as creamy.
