Pours very dark, with little head. Very disappointing and bland. I prefer the standard Guinness Extra Stout.

Pours a brownish head and a dark brown body. Aroma is chocolate. Taste is slightly bitter with some coffee. Creamy taste and mouthfeel, but it is true that it is kind of thinner than one would like.

Pours a deep dark brown almost black color with a huge light tan head. Aroma is mildly smoky with some roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is similar to the aroma a little smoky a little bit of chocolate, and roasted malt, and a distinct flavor of chocolate shake, there are some earthy hops but really there isn’t much bitterness here, never the less this is considerably more dry than sweet. I like it, I wish it was a little more flavorful but I like it very much.

There are hints of chocolate and roasted malts with a dry finish. I am a fan of Guinness, but this did not live up to expectations. It is very easy drinking for a stout, but is thin and doesn’t pack a punch. This isn’t bad, just kind of boring.

It just isn’t the same as the nitrogenated one. The mouthfeel is thinner and not as creamy. The flavor seemed more roasted but wasn’t the Guinness I’ve come to know. Was less bitter even though it was more roasted.

Distinct Guinness sourness. More pronounces roast, some added cocoa complexity, a bit porter-like. Good carb level.
