Appearance: black, fine tan head, bits of lace
Aroma: dry roasted malt aroma, touch of dark chocolate
Body: creamy body but it does not live up to nitro creamyness
Flavor: rich roasted malt flavor, more sour mast tartness than the regular Guinness, hint of bitter dark chocolate, milky chocolate sweetness starts to appear as it warms, lasting bitter finish
Overall: a bit bigger than the regular Guinness but not much more exciting

It was like regular guinness, but not quite as good, smooth body, hint of roast malt.

Bottle thanks to Daknole. Almost black with scant tan head. Aroma is earthy, nutty, some coal. Different. Very drinkable and refreshing. Tastes better than it smells with nice subtle roast and nuttiness. Clean, quaffable, and refreshing. Better than expected.

Bottle, thanks Hogtown Harry!! Pours a nice black with a ton of red hues, small bubble mocha brown head. Nice roast and dare I say hop aroma. Surprising. Taste - good! Like an old Guinness without a ton of nitro and sourness - basic roast and a surprising amount of bitterness. Very flavourful This is like all the good stuff from a pint of Guinness boiled down to a nice almost porter like thin but tasty brew. Totally surprised.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Nice dry, roasted character to it. Aroma has a hint of sharp bitterness and some notes of coffee and roasted malt. Flavor profile is similar. Mouthfeel was much improved from other Guinness products...mildly thick and creamy. Not really worth the price considering the ABV, but definitely worth at least one try.

On draught at Two Fools - Albuquerque. Pours a tan head of fine bubbles, opaque black. Early hop bitterness and black patent malt dry, sharp character. CO2 seems to accentuate the sharpness. Very dry finish. Lacks the creamy mouthfeel of its nitro brethren.

Pours an opaque brown with large amount of bubbly offwhite manilla head. Aroma is sweet and a bit corny, more like a macro lager smell than anything. Flavor is very light and pretty watery, slightly roasted and smokey, but mostly plain. Slight bitter finish. Overall, not as good as the regular.

Bottle @ Shady McGrady’s. Pours a black color with a nice tan head. Slight malty nose, not much else. Sweet, thin body, a hint of smoke. Meh.
